Chào XO is a casual neighborhood Bistro that brings the flavors of various Asian cuisines to National City, situated along E Plaza Blvd. The name “Chào” reflects both a friendly greeting and farewell in Vietnamese, while “XO” symbolizes hugs and kisses. The restaurant is designed to be a casual and cozy space where patrons can savor delicious food, complemented by a selection of coffee, wine and beer, all in the delightful company of good friends.
Behind the scenes, 3 women with a story: A grandmother, a daughter, and a granddaughter; Our grandmother Thuy is a Vietnamese chef who brought her family to the United States and inspired her generation to share love through food, and her daughter and granddaughter are following in her path with great passion.
